OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!! Hello there, I don't have a full restaurant review right now, I just wanted to tell the rest of the GF world that I had DELICIOUS Deepfried calamari fabulousness last night. I happened to be at Guru in downtown Plymouth to catch a friend's guest spot with some of his buddies. Steve was amazing on guitar, and I was blissfully full with chick-pea battered and deep fried calamari. Those little squid had been eluding me, unless sauteed naked (which I definitely don't prefer) and served in tomato sauce. I cleaned my plate and then had some fantastic white rice with some delicious mildly spicy sauce poured over. I will be adding the full review of Guru along with the tale of nebo in Boston (which had THE BEST gf pizza I have experienced to date). Well, it's been a while since I've had a chance to make any changes, and I do appreciate your patience. (thank you) Last night We had dinner at a restaurant in Boston's north end. The place is named nebo and it is FANTASTIC. I need to write a rough draft of a review and have it edited but hopefully, I'll get to post it before Monday. Other than that, my attention has been drawn to the VACUUM of ready to eat G.F. foods. You see, I also have problems with eggs and soy, and BOTH of these are prevalent in RTE snacks. My ire was unexpectedly raised when, at a Starbucks, I grabbed a package of "gluten-free" cookies to find OAT FLOUR as one of the main ingredients. yup. READ EVERY LABEL. EVERYTIME. a hassle, yes. worth the extra moment to save myself gastrointestinal misery? OH CERTAINLY! that's it for now, I'll be adding more content more often, so please check back in a few days for some product and restaurant reviews. Thanks again for visiting, Maggie |

Just a quick HOWDY!! to let you know about one of my favorite G.F. brands :Aleia's Today I am eating their coconut macaroons and thought you'd like to know they are DELICIOUS!!!!! beautifully moist, wonderful texture and coconut taste. I LOVE these cookies. |
